Dr. Mirelez was born in Fresno, California. He was raised by his wonderful grandparents in the nearby farming town of Caruthers. He attended Caruthers High School and it was there he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Mirelez attended Fresno State and received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (Honors). He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. Dr. Mirelez voluntarily attended a General Practice Residency Program at Fresno's University Medical Center. Upon completion of his extended dental education, he worked for a local non-profit children's dental organization, Healthy Smiles Mobile Dental Foundation. After completion of the intense MISCH International Implant Institute Program, Dr. Mirelez acquired his Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.
Dr. Mirelez spends every spare moment with his lovely family. His wife, Helena cares for three beautiful daughters, Mia Helaine, Ava Marie, and Ella Jean. Dr. Mirelez is also a motivational speaker for local schools and Universities. He hopes to encourage as many people as possible to pursue careers in the health profession. Dr. Mirelez feels very fortunate to be a clinical instructor at the prestigious UCSF, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Mirelez is passionate about dentistry and feels honored to be part of an ever-changing profession. Cutting edge and new technological advances is what keeps Dr. Mirelez inspired and excited about dentistry. It is his personal belief that "educated" patients make the best patients, therefore, Dr. Mirelez is committed to thoroughly explaining and educating his patients, so that an informed decision on treatment can be reached.
